Comprehensive Large-Scale Health Hub

In 2011, Health Engineering commenced planning, designing and developing a 14,000 sqm integrated care complex. Sustainable models of care were developed with a focus solely on the patient and their health needs.

A significant co-design process was undertaken in partnership with multiple organisations, future tenants and their service providers, with a view to establish healthcare programs to address the needs of the region.

Health Operations was involved in operationalising the comprehensive integrated services including those of the primary anchor tenant. This included the provision of 70 primary care consulting rooms as well as a 38-bed innovative walk-in/urgent care facility.

Involvement extended to coordination of integrated practice, strategic and clinical governance,  centre management functions,  service design, development and performance monitoring against global objectives including revenue streams, cost management and sustainable practice.
